The third chilling part in this epic tale of courage and survival based on true life events! Read on as we explore...
Chapter Three: Parties of Old... and SNOW ZOMBIES!!!
Their faces were pale, whiter than even the German's pallid tones. As White as the snow that encompassed them. Their speech was mumbled and incoherent, none of our brave and dashing heroes could make out a word they were saying. This is when when the realization dawned on them what they where witnessing, and what the German's girl had experienced when she went back to her own place the night before. They had all turned into SNOW ZOMBIES!
The phenomenon was one they had all heard of before, but none had actually experienced. It was said that when SBU cancelled class due to inclement weather, that the temperatures and conditions were so bad, that anyone trapped outside for an extended period of time would be frozen solid all the way to the core, and that their lifeless bodies would be transformed into the walking frigid undead. It was the stuff of legend, nay of myth, but here standing before them were the lifeless animated corpses of people they had once hung out with and had classes with. These people were once their friends. The only uninfected WOB explained it as thus.
"It was horrible. As we were walking back last night I noticed a change in my
friends, I ignored it thinking maybe the cold just made them a little loopy. I
had no idea the changes that were soon in store for them or the horrors I would
soon see with my eyes. The next morning they seemed cold and unresponsive,
but we went on out anyway. It was then that I saw them doing horrible things. They
were eating the snow! And playing in it! WITHOUT PROPER SNOW ATTIRE!
It was horrible. I ran here thinking it was a safe place, I didn't think they would follow!"
She explained all this while shaking violently in fear. Our heroes soon realized that it was not her that lead them here, no, it was their instinctual nature that made them come to this place of refuge, it was where they always came on Tuesday and Thursday nights. This is when Bearded and Wonderfully Wise Man had an idea, what if all these Snow Zombies needed was some hot tea and coffee? It was worth a shot they all decided, so they proceeded to give them the homemade remedy, and it WORKED! The Snow Zombies were saved! So then they sat around as they did most every Tuesday and Thursday talking and enjoying each others company while watching music videos on multiple screens.
The night ended however and they all left for fear of breaking several fire codes. They were never heard from again. Until classes started up the next day anyway.
So there you have it folks, Chapter Three. Will it be the last Chapter? Or will there be one more? Perhaps and Epilogue is in place? Stay Tuned folks, and find out just how bored and/or lazy the author is!
